In the campaign 9 edition of Avon, actress Zoe Saldana graces the cover. Saldana has been is such movies as “Pirates of the Caribbean” and, her most popular move, “Avatar”. Saldana is the spokes person for the new Avon fragrance called Eternal Magic. Avon advertises Eternal Magic on page 7 of the campaign 9 brochure as a, “Velvety rose and orris blended with warm vanilla and creamy woods”. The perfume is moderately priced at $24 for a 1.7 fl. Oz. bottle.
I obtained a sample of this perfume and smelled it right out of the package. At first, it was extremely floral and alcoholey. Yes, I just made that word up. I applied the perfume to my wrist, neck, behind my knee, and on my chest. As soon as I applied the perfume to my body, I immediately smelled the warm scents in the perfume. Eternal Magic, in my opinion, smelled like how an Avatar would smell. It is extremely floral and magical. Almost like a unicorn mated with a field of flowers. The planet of Pandora would be proud.
I would wear this perfume for an evening date or a magical ride with my flying dragon. Men would probably love this scent because of the femininity it evokes. Zoe Saldana does a fantastic job of highlighting the ethereal allure of the sent. In conclusion, Eternal Magic is a very floral and feminine scent. On a rating scale I would give this perfume an 8 out of 10 magic stars.
